“中国政府奖学金”是中国国家教育部根据与有关国家政府、机构、学校以及有关国际组织签订的教育合作与交流协议或达成的谅解而为来华研究生提供的全额奖学金或部分奖学金。中国教育部委托中国国家留学基金管理委员会(简称“国家留学基金委”)负责中国政府奖学金来华留学生的招生及日常事务的管理工作。广西民族大学是经中国教育部批准的中国政府奖学金生接收院校，2017年招收中国政府奖学金硕士/博士研究生。
一、奖学金招生类别、提供对象和申请条件
1.招生类别：全日制在校研究生（硕士生、博士生），学制三年。
2.招生国别：面向所有国家，东盟国家优先。
3.申请条件：申请硕士研究生者年龄在35周岁以下，申请博士研究生者年龄在45周岁以下，具有学士/硕士学位，有一定的汉语基础。硕士研究生需有两名教授或副教授推荐，博士研究生需有两名教授推荐。（注：不招学习本国语言或英语、法语等第三国语言文学类专业的学生；奖学金招生名额只用于招收新生，不向已经在华学习的学生提供。）

二、中国政府奖学金资助项目
中国政府奖学金资助项目包括以下内容：
1.免交学费、实验费、实习费、基本教材费和校内住宿费；
2.提供奖学金生活费；
3.提供中国政府奖学金来华留学生综合医疗保险。
享受中国政府奖学金研究生的国际旅费由派遣方或学生本人负担。
三、申请途径、时间和申请办法
申请中国政府奖学金的学生，向中国广西民族大学国际教育学院提出申请，申请时间截止至2017年4月20日（以邮戳时间为准）。
四、申请奖学金需提供的材料（一式三份）
1.申请人须通过中国留学基金委“来华留学网上报名系统”(http://laihua.csc.edu.cn)网上填写和提交电子报名信息，在提交信息后，请打印系统自动生成的中国政府奖学金申请表（受理机构编号：10608），贴上照片。不接受手写表格。
2.两名相关专业的教授或副教授（推荐硕士研究生）、两名教授（推荐博士研究生）推荐信，用中文或英文书写。
3.本科/研究生学历证明和大学成绩单，须公证成中文或英文。如申请人为在校学生，需另外提供所在学校出具的在学证明（须注明大学成绩合格，可按时领取毕业证）。
4.需出具《外国人体格检查纪录表》（复印件）（表格见附件1）。
5.来华学习计划或研究计划（需申请人签名）。内容包括申请奖学金原因、个人学习或工作表现、个人所获的奖励和个人特长等（不少于500字，用中文或英文书写）。
6.有效护照复印件。
7.报名费缴费底单原件或复印件（报名费500元人民币，收款单位名称：广西民族大学，账号：618457498351，开户行名称：中国银行南宁市大学东路支行）。
五、申请材料要求
1.每份申请材料不超过20页，三份不能超过60页；要求申请材料全部用A4纸打印。
2.申请材料邮寄到中国广西民族大学国际教育学院A1204，为了方便审核申请材料的真实性,不接受发送到电子邮箱的报名材料。
六、奖学金生的录取及来华手续
广西民族大学和政府有关部门对奖学金生的申请材料进行审核，并确定录取名单。被录取的学生由广西民族大学发出录取通知书。
被录取的奖学金生应持下列证件到驻外使（领）馆申请来华学习签证，按照通知书确定的时间到校办理注册手续。具体证件如下：
1.有效普通护照；
2.外国留学人员来华签证申请表(JW202表)；
3.录取通知书；
4.外国人体格检查记录；
5.本科/研究生毕业证原件、本科/硕士学位证原件和本科/研究生成绩单原件。

2017 Chinese Government Scholarship Graduate Program
Chinese Government Scholarship provides both full and partial scholarship for international graduate students currently enrolled at a Chinese university. This program is established by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (MOE), based on educational collaboration and cooperation agreement with relevant countries, institutions, universities, and international organizations. China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the MOE, oversees admissions and management of this Scholarship. Guangxi University for Nationalities is recruiting graduate students under the Chinese Government Scholarship Graduate Program, approved by the MOE.
Program Information
1. Programs: Full time master degree program and PhD program. Program length is 3 years.
2. Nationality: Application open to the world. Application from Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries is considered first.
3. Admission Requirement: Applicants for master degree program must be under the age of 35, while applicants for PhD program must be under the age of 45. All applicants should hold a bachelor degree or master degree and have basic Chinese language skills. Applicants for master degree program should have recommendation from two professors or associate professors, while applicants for PhD program should have recommendation from two professors. (Note: Applicants who plan to pursue academic program for their native language or academic program for English, French, and other non-Chinese-language literature are not considered. Scholarship application is open to prospective students only. This scholarship does not provide support for international students who are already studying in China.)

Scholarship Information
1. Tuition fee, laboratory fee, internship fee, basic learning materials fee, and cost for dormitory on campus are covered.
2. Standard living allowance is provided.
3. Standard Comprehensive Medical Insurance Plan for International Students in China is provided.
Note: International travel expenses are not included.
Application Procedure and Deadline
Applicants for Chinese Government Scholarship Program should file their application to the College of International Education at Guangxi University for Nationalities. The application deadline is April 15, 2017 (based on Postmark Date).
Application Documents (Three Copies Required)
1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship
Applicants should apply through the CSC Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (available at CSC website http://laihua.csc.edu.cn). Print out the generated Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship and attach your photo to your application form. The institution ID for Guangxi University for Nationalities is 10608.
2. Two recommendation letters
Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors in the related fields of your study for master degree applicants. Two recommendation letters from professors in the related fields of your study for PhD degree applicants. Recommendation letters should be written in Chinese or English.
3. Proof of Bachelor degree or Master Degree and undergraduate or graduate transcript
All proof and transcripts should be notarized in Chinese or English by relevant government offices. If applicants are currently enrolled in an academic program, a letter of enrollment is required. (The letter of enrollment should clarify that applicant is on the path to meet graduation requirements and will graduate on time.)
4. A copy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (Attachment 1).
5. Your plan of study in China
Applicants should include reasons for scholarship application, past study or work performance, honors received, personal specialties, and etc. (The plan must be more than 500 words, written in Chinese or English.)
6. A copy of valid passport
7. A copy of bank receipt for application fee

Admission Process and Entry Procedure
Guangxi University for Nationalities and relevant government offices will process all scholarship program applications and finalize a list of admitted students. All admitted students should receive an admission notice. Admitted students should bring the following materials to local Chinese Embassy or Consulate when applying for a Chinese visa and finish registration process at the College of International Education after arriving on campus by the deadline indicated on the admission notice:
